The Jacobite House provided a cozy retreat right in the heart of Inverness. I appreciated the self-check-in process. it made my late arrival seamless. The room was spacious, equipped with a comfy bed, a kettle, and even an oscillating fan. The cleanliness was impressive, and I loved having a small table and chairs for my work needs during the stay. The kitchen facilities, including a fridge and a microwave, made it easy to prepare snacks. The owners' hospitality stood out when they returned my forgotten Air Pods, going the extra mile to mail them to me at no charge. such kindness is rare these days. However, noise from the corridor was a bit of a nuisance, especially during lazy mornings. The heating could also be an issue. it turned off during daytime hours, leaving the room chilly, particularly during late meetings. Though there was a kettle in the bedroom, it required some awkward positioning to use it effectively. Sound insulation can improve, as the front door often slams, disrupting peace at night. Parking was also a minor hassle since you had to find a nearby lot for extended stays. Certainly a place I'd visit again but with some considerations.

well stocked kitchen, full size refrigerator, access to extra supplies
Off-site parking feels like a hassle when dragging luggage!!! The location gets a bit dicey late at night, questionable safety and loud music until 2 am really disrupts the stay!!! Not enough chairs and no table to eat at!!!

Loved the cozy setting and the super comfy bed during my three-night stay! It was great to unwind in the hot tub and enjoy the peaceful courtyard for some relaxation. The only downside was a bit of a tricky step coming back from the bathroom, but nothing major. just watch your step! 😊

Highly recommend for solo travelers
The place has a great kitchen that made it easy to whip up a quick meal after long days of meetings. I appreciated the milk provided upon arrival, simple touch but made me feel at home.
It wasn't cheap but the amenities made it acceptable.

The Deluxe Double Room was cozy with a comfy bed, making for great nights. I loved having a kettle and the clean shared kitchen was a bonus. However, the bathroom was down the hall, so the dressing gowns were definitely handy. Plus, the room was quiet despite being central, which was nice for relaxing after exploring!

It was just a great match for a short visit in Inverness with reasonable price. The level 1 family suite was lovely, despite the bed being low. Try to get a room on the first floor if mobility is a concern.
